Now the reason for this post. A while back as I was resting in my car, I looked out the window and saw this:
It was just the sky, but the allure of it was breath-taking and I realized, with all of the technology and our busy schedules, we never take the time to just stop and take in the beauty of our world. Actually, with all of the horrible things, crimes, deaths, etc, going on in the world we only seem to focus on the evil. We need more beauty and innocence right now. I know that a lot of people have already pointed it out, but its because its true. The world is passing us by and we're going to miss out on all the wondrous things if we don't do something about.
So here's a challenge (you obviously don't have to do it if you don't want to): Next week is Thanksgiving, very nature oriented. I want you to stop and look at the nature around you, whether it be the sky up above, the moon and the stars, the flowers down below, I don't care. Just for a few seconds.
For those of you who stumble upon something beautiful and don't want to keep it to yourselves, leave a comment below and share it with the rest of us :)
Until next time, I'll leave you with this quote: "Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers - for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are." ~Osho
